Festival of Flavours: third time with you — and going all in again 🦌🍴

Festival of Flavours by TV Nova is one of those events we genuinely look forward to every year. This year, we took part for the third time, once again in the same location — and once again we brought a piece of the Červený Jelen atmosphere with us. Not just visually, but above all through the people who make Červený Jelen what it is.

For the festival menu, we selected a cross-section of what we love and what defines Červený Jelen. From beef tartare and twelve-hour roasted and smoked brisket to a “Dutch schnitzel in a bun” and a selection of our mini desserts.
One dish, however, stood out unmistakably this year — a baked potato dumpling filled with confit duck leg. It became the absolute hit of the festival and sold out completely.
Your reactions brought us huge joy as well. Happy smiles, compliments, stopping by just “for a quick word” — these are exactly the moments that make events like this worthwhile for us.
Marek Fichtner was signing books and adding personal dedications to his cookbook Seasoned by Life, there were plenty of selfies and photos, and the entire weekend had a truly friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Marek also served as a judge on both days of the Mega Battle on the main stage, where Honza Punčochář and Přemek Forejt cooked head-to-head.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, tasted our food, said hello, or simply came to have a look. And if you experienced Červený Jelen at the Festival of Flavours for the first time, we’ll be delighted if you visit us next time at the restaurant itself.
